The Runaway

Hey guys! I'm super stoked to be doing my first sponsored blog. I joined the Selections Pose brand a few days ago, and this is my first blog post for them. I chose this pose, now available in the Cyberpunk Fair event until May 31st. The ball and projector screen comes with the pose, which is pretty awesome. Even cooler if it was made into an animated breathing pose? hint hint hehe... I'm no creator, but kudos to these guys that can make this for all of us to enjoy. I can however, put this in a created look for you. So while you're at the Cyberpunk Fair, don't forget to stop over Gabriel's booth and grab this coat with a build in cybernetic arm and these pants. For 99L each, it's quite a steal! The beard I am wearing I got at Volkstone and is a part of the TMD 75L weekend event. If you're familiar with Volkstone, then you know the high quality of their product and that paying 75L for this is a pretty sweet deal.

The Photo Inspiration (First photo)

The inspiration for this shot is the song "Take On Me" from A-ha. You're all probably familiar with it since it has recently become popular again due to the new series "The Last Of Us." Although this photo, in no way, looks like the actual music video, it follows the same storyline with our protagonist whisking away his love interest and running away together. The twist is, he's from the future.

Since I was repeatedly listening to this song while editing this photo, I started watching the documentary they had about the story behind this song. If you're interested in seeing it, here's a link for you guys here.

A cool little tidbit about the song is that this Norwegian band released this song in England twice and bombed until an American label picked it up. It took six months to do the cartoon drawing and about 10,000 or so drawings to create that final music video. That's insane! A very innovative video from back in the day.
